Operations Manager Full Time

Job Type: Full-Time | 6-Month Contract
Salary: £220 – £250 DOE

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operational activities, support team performance, and drive service excellence within a fast-paced environment.

This is a leadership role responsible for managing operational performance, supporting supervisors and frontline teams, ensuring compliance with procedures, and delivering continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will act as a key link between senior leadership and operational teams while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily operational activities across the service
• Manage and develop Operations Supervisors and frontline teams
• Monitor shift performance and ensure compliance with operational procedures
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
• Analyse performance metrics and implement actions to improve results
• Support incident management, service disruptions, and operational challenges
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, and staff development activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Support workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Maintain accurate operational records and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years’ operations experience leading teams
• Previous supervisory or management experience
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Ability to analyse operational data and drive performance improvements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays where required
• Ability to travel as required
