• Compliance

Within our industry, we understand the need for strong compliance measures throughout every stage of recruitment and continuous monitoring while our workers are working with you. Here at IntSol Recruitment we utilise both manual processes and technology to manage all compliance.

With a dedicated compliance team based within our head office, we do not stop there. We ensure every one of our consultants is trained to understand the laws and regulations that are prevalent within our industry. We are strong believers of continuous development and training to ensure our staff understand your business and potential risks. This means you can have confidence in the dedicated recruitment team handling your account.

We also understand that some processes are better done by technology. This is why we have invested heavily into the best government approved systems to ensure you are safeguarded, even while our workers are in a live role with you. We have implemented this technology in areas such as automating licence checks. This means you won’t have to worry about managing temporary worker licences, we will do that for you, with real time information as and when there is a change on the workers documentation.

Right to Work

We check candidates right to work documentation using an identity service provider that offers Identity Document Validation Technology (IDVT) approved by Home Office. We also undergo online right to work checks via the Home Office website and by using the Employer Checking Service. For manual documentation checks we screen candidates’ documents in person at one of our offices or recruitment hubs and use an ID scanner to verify the legitimacy of applicable documentation. During the period of employment, we will continuously undergo periodic audits on all active workers. This ensures compliance at all levels through an easy an efficient experience for our candidate.

Automated Licence Checks

We undergo manual DVLA checks with every driver candidate who registers with the business at registration stage. Once the candidate has been presented to a client, we will use an automated, real-time, online licence checking service to review and continually monitor a worker’s driving history and licence status. This system alerts us of any changes to our workers driving record to include endorsements, disqualifications, expiration dates, restrictions and license categories.

Driver Hours

When allocating work, we utilise system capabilities to support with managing driver hours and ensure they are within the working time directive or legal driving hours for their category. We also operate a zero-tolerance policy on multi-company working while working for a service provider. This ensure the drivers we provide are not working with other operators on their days off. Additionally, each of our drivers will sign a working hours declaration upon registration.

Background Checks

At the point of introduction to our client, we will provide a ‘worker pack’ which will include all necessary documentation for the driver in relation to right to work, licence information, any client specific declarations and a brief summary of previous working history. Additionally, our compliance team will undergo reference checks for every newly registered candidate and make DBS applications where required by our client.
